It is another celebration of teachers globally and the Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has extended his commendations and felicitations in appreciation of teachers globally especially to those in his council.
Aroyewun, who himself was a classroom teacher, thanked them for being the guiding lights illuminating the path and for the pivotal roles that they play which contribute to the growth and development of the society and nation.
The council boss said in a statement commemorating the 2025 World Teachers Day.
“On this momentous occasion of Teachers’ Day, I extend my warmest felicitations and profound gratitude to you all our esteemed teachers who I consider our guiding lights and whose role I consider very pivotal to the growth of our society.

“Your dedication forms the very bedrock upon which our community’s progress is built.
“Today, I celebrate you for the exemplary and noble role you play that transcends the four walls of a classroom.
“You are the master craftsmen meticulously molding the character and intellect of the next generation. Through your wisdom, you are not merely imparting knowledge; you are instilling values, shaping upright leaders, and creating a legacy of enlightened citizenship that will define the future of Igbogbo/Baiyeku, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large,” Aroyewun said.
The ebullient council executive chairman further acknowledges the teachers as the future and society moulders.

“Your work is a sacred trust. The seeds of integrity, innovation, and compassion you plant in the hearts of our children today are what will blossom into a prosperous and harmonious society tomorrow.
“On behalf of the entire people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, I say thank you. Thank you for your resilience, your passion, and your invaluable service.
“Happy Teachers’ Day! May your commitment to lighting up countless minds continue to open doors of great opportunity for you.”
